Total Time 1 hour

  • 2 tsp Olive oil
  • 16 oz package of frozen meatballs
  • 1 24 oz Spaghetti sauce
  • 1 28 oz can Diced tomatoes, basil and oregano
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 tsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 tsp dried Italian spices
  • 16 oz package Spaghetti noodles
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

  1. Fill a medium-sized to large pot with water and turn the burner on medium heat. Allow the water to begin boiling and then place the noodles in the pot and stir the noodles. Cook the noodles for 12 minutes.

  2. While the noodles are cooking, you can start cooking the Spaghetti sauce.
  3. In a large skillet add 2 tsp of Olive oil and turn on medium heat. While the large skillet is heating up, dice the onions and red pepper. Add the onion and red pepper and stir to spread them evenly.
  4. Stir occasionally to make sure the onion and red peppers are cooking evenly. When the onions are translucent they are done. Add the garlic and continue to stir. It only takes a few minutes for the garlic to cook.
  5. Stir in the remaining ingredients and cook on medium high heat for about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir occasionally to make sure the ingredients do not stick. Turn the heat down to low and place the lid on and cook for an additional 30 minutes. Be sure to stir occasionally.
  6. When the Spaghetti noodles are done, drain them in a colander in the sink.
  7. The next item on the menu is the Garden Tossed Salad.
